Elbert "Ebbie" N. Rhoden, 86 husband of Rebecca Rhoden of Johnston, SC entered into rest on July 13, 2025.

Ebbie was born in Johnston, SC as the son of the late Viola and Lewis Rhoden. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a retired supervisor of the Edgefield County Water and Sewer Authority.

Ebbie is survived by his loving wife Rebecca, daughter Janet Buck (Gary), three grandchildren Hannah Hutto (Keith), Naomi Buck and Jacob Buck, two sisters Josie Feliciano (Joe), Betty Harrelson. Predeceased by one son Nelson L. Rhoden.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am-10:00am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with a 10:00am service to follow. Visitation and service will be held at Philippi Baptist Church, 122 Steeple Rd. Johnston, SC 29832.
