E. Robert "Bobby" Elgin Jr., 80, entered into rest on April 23, 2024.

Bobby was born in Belton, SC as the son of Sarah Alverson Elgin and Edward R. Elgin Sr. Bobby was a retired textile worker of Graniteville and was of the Baptist faith.

Bobby is survived by his two daughters Hope Gibson, Angie Cleveland (Chris), sister Patricia "Pat" Golden, two brothers John Billy Elgin, Charles Dean Elgin, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Richard Elgin.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Overbrook Cemetery, Hwy 221 McCormick, SC 29835.
