Edward Rudolph Cornwell Sr., 84 of Johnston, SC entered into rest on December 27, 2025.

Edward was born in Long Island, NY as the son of the late Sarah and Valentine F. Cornwell Jr. Edward was retired from Westinghouse at The Savannah River Site and was a member of Johnston Methodist Church.

Edward is survived by his two sons Edward R. Cornwell Jr., Tim Cornwell (Angela), five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his loving friend Betty Cornwell.

A graveside service will be held at Harmony Methodist Church Cemetery, 11:00am on Friday, January 2, 2026. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
