Quarles Edgefield, SC Edith Sharp Quarles, 93 wife of the late Hampy H. Quarles, died Sunday May 8, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 2 PM at Lighthouse Fellowship Church with burial to follow in Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at Lighthouse Fellowship Church before the service. Mrs. Quarles was a native of Edgefield County and the daughter of the late Cleo & Meta Berry Quarles. She was retired from Crest Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church. Survivors include 3 sons; Terry (Frances) Quarles, Keith (Lynn) Quarles, and Troy (Becky) Quarles; 2 daughters; Donna (Jim) Stewart, and Martha Quarles; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons Dale and Kenneth Quarles; 2 grandsons, and 1 great-grandson. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
