Mrs. Dolly Annette Halford, a member of Johnston ARP Presbyterian Church, entered into eternal rest Saturday March 7, 2015 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 21, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Johnston Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Halford was born in Augusta, Ga. on St. Patrick's Day and half Irish. She was born to Rosa Ann and John Harpe. She graduated from Tubman High School and worked at J.C. Penny Co. Dolly married George Burton Halford, USN in October 1946, who now waits for her in Heaven. Survivors include one daughter Bonnie Welder, and one grandson Wesley J. Walton. Mrs. Halford loved Jesus, her family, and her dogs, Bunny, BeBe, Pepper, Petie, and Alfie.
