Mr. David Carroll Padgett, 68, of Edgefield Rd., passed away Saturday March 24, 2018. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Trenton, S.C. Mr. Padgett was born in Augusta, Ga. and was the son of the late Leonard W. and Dorothy Seawright Padgett. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired mechanic at the S.C. National Guard. Survivors include 1 daughter- Marie (Jason) Berry; 3 Grandchildren- Tanner, Tyler, and Raegan Berry; 1 Brother- Walker Padgett; 1 Sister- Jane (Earl) Moates. Mr. Padgett was predeceased by a son Jamie Padgett. The family is at his mother's home and will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
