Daphne Botts Murrell, 90, of NHC Healthcare, West Columbia, SC passed into the loving arms of her LORD and Savior on March 24, 2023.

Daphne was born in Greenwood, SC to the late Edna Poss Botts and James Botts. She was retired from Federal Pacific Electric and was a member of Phillippi Baptist Church.

Daphne is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Steve) Smith, and two sons Tim Bush and Barry Jones. Stepchildren Danny (Donna) Murrell, Kelvin Murrell, Tommy (Lois) Murrell, Theresa Lynn, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Alvin Murrell, her sons Ricky and Woody Bush and one grandson, Jason Bush.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC. Burial will follow at Mt. of Olives Cemetery, Mims Ave. in Johnston, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
