Medical Center Mrs. Connie Quarles Miller, 66, of Miller Rd. wife of Preston Lanham Miller, Jr., died Saturday June 25, 2011. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 27, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Republican Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Quarles was a native of Edgefield County and was the daughter of the late Theo and Audrey Wood Quarles. She was a Graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and Bolen's Business School. She was a member of Republican Baptist Church and the church choir. She was also a member of the V.A. National Medical Music Group. She was retired from the Dept of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, 1 Son- P.L. (Olyvia) Miller III; 3 Grandchildren- Preston Miller, IV, Mayson Miller, and Payton Miller; 1 Sister- Sylvia Q. (Bob) Sunshine; her mother-in-law- Lucile Miller, brother-in-law- Lewis Miller; Nieces and Nephews. Memorial May be made to Republican Baptist Church, 610 Republican Rd. Clarks Hill, S.C. 29821.
