Carroll Floyd "Sonny" Seawright III, 84, of Edgefield, SC passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Piedmont University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Sonny was the retired owner of Seawright's dry cleaners and a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church. Sonny was a past Master Mason having served 60 years of service.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Wanda Goodson Seawright and his children Robert Seawright, Sheila (Ken) Drafts, Richie (Amy) Kelly, grandchildren Taylor & Will Seawright, Parker, Savannah, and Aimee Kelly, Rachel & Renee Drafts, great grandchildren Rylin Estep and Wesley Seawright. He also leaves behind his brother Bobby Seawright and several nieces and a nephew. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Carroll Floyd & Ann Amelia Whightman Seawright Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Edgefield First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 PM before the service at the church.
