Mr. Carroll Raymond Parkman, 76, of Hardy Place Rd., husband of Patsy Busby Parkman, passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017. Graveside Services will be held Thursday December 7, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Edgefield. Mr. Parkman was a native of Edgefield County and was of the Baptist Faith. He was the son of the late Carroll Morgan "Sonny Boy" and Cora Leopard Parkman. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Machinist for Riegel Division of Mount Vernon Mill. Survivors include his wife, 2 sons- Tony Parkman, Mark (Kelley) Parkman; 6 Grandchildren- T.J., Mark Jr. "Scooter", Layne, and Piper Parkman, Karrington "Noodle", and Tillman Miller. 1 Sister- Joyce (Jerry) Marlette; 1 Sister-in-law- Vivian Parkman. Mr. Parkman was predeceased by a brother Charles Parkman. Memorials may be made to Kindred Home Health, 2521 Evans Street Newberry, S.C. 29108.
