Carl Hammond Boone, 81, husband of the late Nancy "Betty" Posey Boone of Edgefield, SC entered into rest on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Graveside Services will be 11 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, Edgefield, SC. Mr. Boone was born in Aiken, SC and was the son of the late Daniel P. and Daisy Hammond Boone. He was a retired Mechanic for Graniteville Company and a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Danny (Melinda) Boone; two daughters, Joyce (Jimmy) Smith, and Nancy (Chris) Rhodes; one sister, Katie (Pete) Whitt; six, grandchildren; and one, great grandson. He was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel Boone. The family is at the home of his daughter, Nancy Rhodes, Georgia Rd., Edgefield, SC and will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
