Blandena Timmerman Wall, 88, wife of the late W. Virgil Wall, Sr., of Virgil Wall Rd. entered into rest on Sunday March 11, 2018. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 11 AM at McKendree United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wall was a lifelong resident of Edgefield and the daughter of the late Jesse P. and Florence Bennett Timmerman. She was an active and devoted member of McKendree United Methodist Church and McKendree United Methodist Women. She retired in 2010 as President of W.V. Wall and Sons Logging Company, a company that she and her husband ran together until his death in 1991. She was a thoughtful, caring, and sincere person who loved her family dearly and always sought to take care of others. Mrs. Wall was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister. Survivors three sons, Virgil (Brenda) Wall, Jr., Billy (June) Wall, and Dennis (Dianne) Wall; 1 daughter, Sharon Wall; 2 sisters, Frances Corley, and Margaret Dunovant; grandchildren Melanie Wall, Trey Wall, Crystal (Roger) West, Billy (Victoria) Wall, Richard (Ginny) Wall, Jessica (Joe) Carter, and W.C. (Kasey) Wall; great grandchildren, R.J. West, Ryleigh West, Tenley Wall, Grayson Wall, Dakota Quarles, Kaitlyn Quarles, Olyvia Wall, Nathan Carter, Noah Carter, Devin Brown, Madison McAllister, Brayden McAllister, Jase Wall, Tabitha Carter, and Cody, Hunter, and Jake Borden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McKendree United Methodist Church, Stained Glass Window Fund, c/o Neil Bartley, 102 Faulkner Mtn. Rd., Edgefield, SC 29824. Pallbears will be Trey Wall, Billy Wall, Jr., Richard Wall, W.C. Wall, Joe Carter, and Roger West. The family is at the home of her daughter Sharon Wall and will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday March 13, 2018 at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
