Milliken Textile Mr. Billie Stevens Fulmer, 89, of Riegal Rd., husband of the late Janet Botts Fulmer, passed away Wednesday November 5, 2014 at Saluda Nursing Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 8, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Philippi Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery with Military Rites. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. before the service at the Church. Mr. Fulmer was born in Johnston, S.C. and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. He was a retired Supervisor at Milliken Co. and he was a Mason. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. Mr. Fulmer loved fishing, camping, boating, and always enjoyed a good cigar. Survivors include 2 Daughters- Debra J. Fulmer, Dianne (Rufus) Laurence; 2 Grandsons- Gus Reynolds, Chuck (Shannon) Laurence; 2 Brothers- George O. (Sarah) Fulmer, Pete Fulmer; 1 Sister- Elizabeth (James) Hendrix. The family would like to thank Dr. William Sawyer and the staff of the Sawyer Wing of the Saluda Nursing Center for their love and kindness.
