Betty Ann Hinkle, 81 of Red Hill Community entered into rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Due to COVID-19 health concerns a Private Graveside Service will be held Friday at Red Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Edgefield, SC.
Mrs. Hinkle was born and raised in the Red Hill Community of Edgefield. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Helen Johnson. Mrs. Hinkle served our country as the spouse of an Armed Forces Serviceman. She traveled the country and internationally raising and supporting her family. Her love of travel didn't stop when her husband retired from the military as she enjoyed many trips to her favorite country, Ireland.
Mrs. Hinkle is survived by her husband, Don Hinkle, one son, Richard (Robin) Hinkle of Laurens SC, two daughters, Stephanie (Joseph) Thompson of Lewis Center, OH and Jennifer (Richard) Lewis of Edgefield, SC, eight grandchildren, Shannon and Danielle Hinkle, Joseph, Jr. Sophia, and Nick Thompson, Destiny Martin, Dawson and Emma Lewis, two great-grandchildren Cannon Hinkle and J.C. Tarrant,one sister, Frances Riggs. She is predeceased by a brother, William (Billy) Johnson.
