Barbara Summer Kneece, 92, the wife of the late C. Monroe Kneece of Johnston entered into rest on July 9, 2024.

Barbara was born in Ward, SC as the daughter of James H. and Margaret Joyner Summer. She was a retired clerk for Kneece Enterprises and a member of Johnston Methodist Church.

Barbara is survived by her children Monty Kneece, Marcie Watson (Doc), Marianne Wooten (Craig), Melissa Wood (Butch), sister Carolyn S. Griffin, grandchildren Meghan Whitlow, C.C. Watson, Marissa Starnes, great-grandchildren Logan, Layla, Addy and Righteous.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. Memorials may be made to Johnston Methodist Church, PO Box 186 Johnston, SC 29832 or Shriners Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605.
