Arnette Bledsoe Holmes, 82, of Jeter St., Edgefield, SC wife of F. Ward Holmes entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. Mrs. Holmes was born in Saluda, SC and was the daughter of the late Douglas and Agnes Polatty Bledsoe. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Edgefield County School District and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Mike (Tonya) Holmes and Tony Holmes; two brothers, Everette Bledsoe, and Dwight (Margaret) Bledsoe; two sisters, Elise (J.C.) Rodgers, and Georgia Mae Gillian; three grandchildren, Aaron Davis, Sonya Risher, and Amanda Sievert; three great grandchildren, Ava Risher, Rylan Muns, and Kenzley Davis. Memorials may be made to the Charity of One's Choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
