Mrs. Aliene Hilderbrand Spears, 73, of Edgefield, wife of the late James E.Spears, died Monday September 16, 2013 at University Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 18, 2013 at 5 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. There will be a graveside Service Thursday September 19, 2013 at 1 P.M. at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Spears was a native of Edgefield County and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was the owner of an In Home Day Care and was an Army Veteran. Survivors include 1 son- James M. (Jimmy) Spears, Jr. and his wife Becky, San Antonio, TX; 1 Grandson- Forrest Spears; 2 Sisters- Lily (Charles) Watson, Mary Bussey; 1 Brother- Robert (Linda) Hilderbrand.
