Albert "Al" Leroy Newby, Jr., 72, of Edgefield entered into rest on July 8, 2022. Al was born in Augusta, Georgia as the son of the late Albert Leroy Newby, Sr., and Robbie Katie Kendrick Newby. He was a retired electrician for Kimberly Clark as well as a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by: his loving wife Shirley Fann Newby, two daughters Heather (Cory) Newby Hauck, Allison (Keith Scott) Newby, three grandchildren Miles, Elise and Ginger.
