Abner Daniel Huckaby, 63 husband of Darlene McKay Huckaby of Trenton, SC entered into rest on January 6, 2024.

Dan was born in Thomaston, Georgia as the son of the late Mary Joyce and Billy Ray Huckaby. Dan was a retired worker of 35 years from Tran-Teck in Edgefield, SC.

Dan is survived by his wife Darlene, children James "J.R" Huckaby (Lindsey), Billie Jacqueline "Jackie" Huckaby, two sisters Susan Moroso, Ray Leen "Rae" Morgan (Ralph), eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dan is predeceased by his daughter Ashley Edwards.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, January 12, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 1843 Highway 23 W. Edgefield, SC. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you may donate to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK. 73123.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
